    Applications are invited in prescribed format for the following temporary posts for a period of three years:
    • Junior Technical Superintendent in the Office of the Dean (IPS): 2 Posts (UR) 
      • Qualification: 
        • For Post No.1: B.E./B.Tech. (Electronics/ Instrumentation) OR B.Sc. in Electronics/ Instrumentation/Physics major with two years work experience. 
        • For Post No.2: B.E./B.Tech. (Mechanical Engg.) Desirable: Require hands on experience with a wide range of HVAC equipment. Both operational and maintenance related work experience is essential. Nature of tasks will involve maintenance/supervision of air conditioning plants and other essential jobs as per the demands of the section.
    • Junior Technical Superintendent in the Aerospace Engg.Deptt.: 2 (1reserved for SC & 1 for UR)
      • Qualification: 
        • For Post No.1: B.E./B.Tech. (or equivalent professional examination like AeSI or AMIE) in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering.
        • For Post No.2: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering.
    • Junior Technical Superintendent in the Deptt. of Biosciences & Bioengineering: 1(SC) M.Sc. 
      • Qualification: Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology with some relevant experience.
    • Junior Superintendent: 10 {1 reserved for SC, 1 reserved for ST, 3 reserved for OBC & 5 Unreserved} one post is reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates.
      • Qualification: Masters degree or Bachelors degree with 2 years relevant experience. Knowledge of Computer Office applications & Secretarial practices.
    • Pay band : Rs.930034800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/(Total emoluments on the minimum of the pay band is Rs.26851/per month including HRA)
    • Age limit : 32 years (relaxation as per rules)
    • How to Apply: Applications with full particulars quoting advertisement No. G34/ 1112 together with a Demand Draft of Rs.50/ (No application fee for SC/ST/PH & Woman candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, IIT Bombay payable on SBI, Powai, Mumbai and copies of certificates/testimonials, caste (in case of OBC, latest noncreamy layer certificate is essential) etc. should reach the Registrar, IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai400 076 on or before 30th August, 2011 .
