INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE (IES)/ INDIAN STATISTICAL SERVICE (ISS) EXAMINATION , 2011

The Union Public Service commission will hold the Indian Economic Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination commencing from 03rd December 2011 for recruitment to Grade IV of the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS). The examination will be held at various centers across the country.


Conditions of Elgibility

(C) Physical Standards: candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical Servicce Examination, 2011 as prescribed in the detailed advertisement.

Fee : Online -Rs. 100/- to be deposited in any branch of SBI or  by Net Baking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card and for Offline - Rs.100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.

How to Apply :

1. Online : Candidates need to apply Online only at http://upsconline.nic.in up to  29/08/2011 till 11.59 pm.
2. Offline :  Candidates from some far-flung defined areas can also apply Offline through Common Application Form devised by the commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 30/- and must reach the "Secretary, Union Public Service commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post only or by courier, on or before 05/09/2011.
