    NCR, Allahabad invites fresh applications from sports persons who are talented and outstanding in sports and having minimum sports norms as given in full details of this notice on the prescribed format for recruitment in Gr. ‘C’ posts against Sports Quota 2011-12 on North Central Railway, in the following games:
    • The recruitment are to be done in the following field of Sports.
      • Badminton (M): 02 Posts
      • Cricket (M): 02 Posts
      • Cricket (W): 01 Post
      • Hockey (W): 08 Posts
      • Football (M): 01 Post
      • Wrestling (M): 02 Posts
    • Pay-scale wise posts details: 
      • Pay Band – I, Pay Scales Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2400, 2800: 03 Posts
        • Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment: Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category - A) OR At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-B Championships/events as Categorized in para 3.2 of this vacancy
      • Pay Band – I, Pay Scales Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1900, 2000: 09 Posts
        • Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment: Represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/events as Categorized in para 3.2 of this vacancy OR At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-C Champions/events as Categorized in para 3.2 of this vacancy. OR At least 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior Notational Champions. OR At least 3rd Position in Notational Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. OR At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. OR 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
      • Pay Band – I, Pay Scales Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 1800: 04 Posts
        • Minimum Sports Norms for Recruitment: Represented the County in any of the Category-C Championships/event as Categorized in para 3.2 of this vacancy. OR At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category). OR Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country, in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships. OR At least 3rd Position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State.
    • Examination Fee:  The candidates have to send a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of FA&CAO/NCR paybale at Allahabad and as detailed below:
      • For the post having GP Rs. 2400 – 2800 – Rs. 60.
      • For the post having GP Rs. 1800, 1900 & 2000 – Rs. 40.
    • Whom to Apply: Application complete in all respects should be sent in a cover addressed to Assistant Personnel Officer/IR., North Central Railway, Headquarters office, Saraswati Block, Subedarganj, Allahabad -211033 so as to reach on or before last date. Application may also be dropped in the box kept in the CPO’s Office, Saraswati Block, Headquarters office, Subedarganj, N.C. Railway, Allahabad on any working day (Monday to Friday) between 09.30 hrs to 18.00 hrs on or before last date 
    • Closing date: The applications should reach on or before 30.08.2011. Candidates belonging to Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep Islands closing date would be 14.09.2011, time upto 18.00 hrs. Such candidates should enclose a domicile certificate of Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep Islands from and appropriate authority of the Andaman, Nicobar Administration or a certificate from a school or college last attended in Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep certifying that the candidate has passed his/her examination from the school/college situated in Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep The cover containing the application should be super-scribed as “Application against Sports quota 2011- 12 (Open Advertisement Scheme)”
