    NHPC Limited, a Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Enterprise of Govt. of India, is looking for Engineers and Junior Engineers in Electrical discipline “On Fixed Tenure Basis” for strengthening & augmentation of Distribution and Sub- Transmission System and Rural Electrification works in Seven Districts in the State of J&K.
    • Engineer 
      • Essential Qualification: BE/B.Tech. degree/AMIE in Electrical from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 55% Marks or equivalent grade.
      • COMPENSATION PACKAGE: consolidated remuneration of Rs. 16,500/- per month.
    • Junior Engineer
      • Essential Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized polytechnic with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
      • COMPENSATION PACKAGE:  consolidated remuneration of Rs. 8,800/- per month.
    • Age Limit: Upper Age limit for all above posts is 30 years as on 30-06-2011. 
    • MEDICAL FITNESS; Appointment will be subject to candidate being found medically fit by the Company’s Medical Officer or Government Medical Officer.
    • How to Apply and Selection Process: 
      • Eligible candidates shall download four sets of application form from the link given on its official  website www.nhpcindia.com.
      • Affix passport size photograph on each copy of application form. The candidate has to bring these four printouts dully filled in along with necessary supporting documents.
      • Selection shall be made through Personal Interview.
    • DATE OF INTERVIEW:
      • The Candidates will have to appear for interview as per following schedule at Regional Office, NHPC Limited, Block No. 1, JDA Commercial Complex, Narwal, Jammu(J&K), PIN-180006.
